The Heartland Irish Dancers (HID), started in 2017, offers classes at their three South Kansas City locations: Cleveland, MO/Bucyrus, KS, Belton, MO and Harrisonville, MO. HID teaches traditional Irish dance to students ages three to adult. The primary focus of the Heartland Irish Dancers is to create a positive learning environment with instruction that is tailored to each dancers strengths, goals, and needs; We feel that the discipline, confidence, fitness education, and friendships that are gained in the Heartland Irish Dance community will have a profound influence on the character of all dancers and their families.
And you don't have to be Irish to participate! Heartland Irish dancers promotes diversity and modesty at all of their classes and provides performance opportunities at parades, events and other local venues for all interested dancers.
