Ian Gould with Irish Cinderella All

Cinderella has made a comeback; girls AND boys are enjoying this ageless story. The fairytale has been told and adapted for thousands of years all over the globe. Elizabeth and Ian Gould will bring two Irish Cinderella stories to life on stage with participation and interaction from their audience. With sword fights, tiny shoes, big boots and dragons, this is a storytelling event like no other. Elizabeth has two Master’s Degrees in Education and is a Wisconsin bilingual educator. Most importantly, she is a long time self-proclaimed Cinderella expert and historian. She is a reading and writing teacher who incorporates theater into her classroom; she and her students have written and performed countless plays and musicals over the past 20 years. Her philosophy in teaching encompasses the use of storytelling. Ian has a degree in Music Performance from the University of the Highlands and Islands: Perth College in Scotland. He was recently nominated by the Irish Music Awards as Top Solo Performer in a Pub Venue and was honored to perform for the President of Ireland in 2012. Ian also works with children teaching them private music lessons and presenting workshops in schools. He has been performing throughout Europe and the U.S.

since he was a teen.

Watch as Elizabeth and Ian each become seanachaoi (Irish for storyteller) and liven the audience with their interpretation of the Cinderella stories. The stories are derived from the books The Irish Cinderlad and Fair, Brown & Trembling, an Irish Cinderella Story. The pair has been performing Irish Cinderella stories at schools, parties, and festivals throughout the Midwest. Don’t miss Cinderella~ Irish style.
