Irish Comedy Show at Kansas City Irish Fest

Join us on the third floor of Crown Center at Music Theater Heritage on their main stage for the Irish Comedy Show with Katie Boyle and Ger Staunton

Shows are Saturday, August 31st and Sunday, Sept 1st at 8:00pm.

General admission tickets are $15 in advance and $20 during the festival.

VIP tickets are $40 and include reserved seating, a complimentary cocktail, and a meet & greet with the comedians.

Comedy tickets DO NOT include admission to Kansas City Irish Fest. A Single Day Admission Ticket must be purchased separately. 18+. Children 13-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, under 12 not admitted.

Katie Boyle

Katie Boyle is an Irish comedian living in New York City. Her favorite stand-up topics are her journey through American culture, dating, therapy and shame! She performed as a "New Face" in the 2023 Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, and was featured in NY Funniest showcase and New York Comedy Festival in 2022. Katie's debut album and special, I'll Do It Myself, was released through Pinch Records in summer of 2023. The album hit #1 on iTunes Comedy Charts and is currently available to stream on all major platforms. Her last special, Don't Tell, premiered last November.

Katie has headlined clubs across the United States and Ireland, and brought her tour to Dublin and Cork earlier this year for four sold-out shows. She’s been featured in The Hollywood Reporter, Irish Independent, and The Irish Times and her work has been featured in Laughing Skull, Women in Comedy, Kansas City Irish Fest, and on SiriusXM.

Outside of stand-up, Katie has acted in various sketches and shorts, including LadBible and Unilad's "Man of the Street" videos, and she appeared in a commercial for Oracle. She also collaborates with brands like Piece of Cake Moving, Language Drops, Sundance, and MTV to create and develop funny content.

Katie has been producing and emceeing a consistently sold out Irish comedy show at the Dead Rabbit since February 2023, which flies in Irish comedians to perform. She currently hosts The Shift podcast, on which she and guests discuss sex and dating from an Irish perspective. She is currently touring her new tour, Terapy.

Ger Staunton

Described by the country’s longest running comedy club ‘The International’, Ger Staunton is “One of the best comedy writers in Ireland”.

Staunton is a regular headline act in his home country, as well as being one of the most internationally traveled performers to emerge from the green isle. He regularly tours America, Europe, the UAE, Scandinavia, the UK, and since the return of live entertainment in 2021 he has also brought his shows as far as Iraq and India.
